Geometric Progression (GP)

A sequence where each term is obtained by multiplying the previous term by a fixed ratio.

Geometric Progression

A sequence where each term is obtained by multiplying the previous term by a fixed number (the common ratio, $r$).

nth Term

$$a_n = ar^{n-1}$$

Sum of n Terms

$$S_n = \frac{a(r^n - 1)}{r - 1}, \quad r \neq 1$$
