Animals are classified based on features like levels of organisation, symmetry, presence of a coelom (body cavity), and segmentation.
Non-Chordates
Animals lacking a backbone, classified into phyla such as Porifera, Cnidaria, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca, and Echinodermata.
