Determiners

Words that come before a noun to make its reference clear: a, an, the, this, some, any, etc.

Determiners

Determiners वे words हैं जो किसी noun (संज्ञा) के बारे में यह बताते हैं कि वह noun कौन-सा, कितना, कितने, किसका या कितने में से है।

Easy Concept:
Determiner सामान्यतः noun से पहले आता है और noun को identify या limit करता है।

Example: a book, the book, my book, this book, some books, many books

यहाँ a, the, my, this, some, many सभी Determiners हैं क्योंकि ये noun book/books के बारे में additional information दे रहे हैं।

1. Determiner को पहचानें कैसे?

यदि किसी noun से पहले कोई ऐसा word है जो यह बता रहा है कि noun कौन-सा, कितना, कितने, किसका आदि है, तो वह Determiner हो सकता है।

Sentence Determiner What it tells
I have a book. a एक सामान्य book
The boy is my friend. the विशेष boy
My father is a teacher. my किसका?
These books are new. these कौन-सी books?
Many students were absent. many कितने?
