The energy per unit charge at a point in an electric field.
Electric Potential
Electric potential at a point is the work done per unit positive charge in bringing it from infinity to that point, without acceleration.
Equipotential Surfaces
A surface on which the potential is the same everywhere. The electric field is always perpendicular to equipotential surfaces.
