Transformers
A transformer uses mutual induction to step AC voltage up or down between two coils with different numbers of turns, and is the basis of long-distance electricity transmission.
LC Oscillations
In a circuit containing only an inductor and a capacitor, energy oscillates back and forth between the magnetic field of the inductor and the electric field of the capacitor.
