Temperature vs Heat
- Temperature — a measure of the average kinetic energy of particles
- Heat — energy that flows from a hotter body to a colder one
Calorimetry
Calorimetry is the measurement of heat exchanged, based on the principle that heat lost by a hotter body equals heat gained by a colder body (in an isolated system).
