Viscosity and Surface Tension

Why some fluids flow more easily than others, and why liquid droplets are round.

Viscosity

Viscosity is a fluid's internal resistance to flow — honey is more viscous than water.

Surface Tension

Surface tension is the tendency of a liquid surface to behave like a stretched elastic membrane, minimizing its surface area — this is why small drops of water tend to be spherical.
